Yet, This is not about the current online trend…this is an appreciation and gratitude post.
I woke up with this overwhelming drive to say thank you. The trigger I believe came from being part of that wellness and entrepreneurs event I was a panelist at last night.
I sent it to my close peeps first, but thought I would share it publicly so here goes.
I am grateful for the company and support of friends and family who are entrepreneurs and who understand this journey. Grateful for those who are not entrepreneurs and choose to understand and to support.
…they hold space for you and listen, they give you grace, time, hugs, knowing nods and smiles, money, lots of prayers, drinks, been-there-done-that advice, they cook for you, they give you connections to opportunity, connections to the love of your life, buy you plane tickets, take you on beach trips- when you are going through a twist or a burn.
And they remind you to celebrate how far you’ve come and to stop and savor every small and big win that you achieve.
And they do so from a place of love, of happiness for you, of knowing…and with no judgment, no criticism….just grace, confidence, and trust.
.
They trust you to make the best decision for yourself at that time. They trust that you’ll figure it out at times alone sometimes and many times with help- when we ask for it and receive it with humility, joy, and gratitude.
They trust that you are doing the best that you can and look forward to seeing you continue to learn, grow, and do more amazing things.
Because It all helps to ease and energise, soothe, and strengthen you.
Our journey is not easy, and while it’s no more special than anyone else’s, we chose it, we own it, because we simply cannot see ourselves being any other way.
And while at times we feel utterly alone, when we look at things differently, we never really are.
.
So from the bottom of my heart…thank you, I love you.
I appreciate you.
