Facebook is useful for some things…funny memes, birthday reminders, and throwback photos. This one reminded me that I’ve been on purpose and on a mission from back in College days. The photo also remind me of how long I’ve stopped wearing dresses. LOL.

I was 21.
Somehow I convinced Butch Stewart, Delroy Lindsay, & other luminaries to speak at the launch of what I called then – The Young Entrepreneurs Club of Jamaica.
It was at The Wyndham Hotel or Courtleigh Hotel I think.
A couple of hundred young people attended.
A single message: Create & Own Your Future by starting a business and using it to build wealth for yourself and others.
And yeah, that’s Me in a dress with my very supportive Mom, the first one to call me a Rebel.
Honestly, I am laughing and filled with so much gratitude as I sit here, planning another event before this year ends.
Thanks to everyone who say yes, supported me in various ways, followed where I led and who locked arms and stepped along with me because they saw what I saw.
Thank you to everyone who is still doing this with me.
