Year in Review 2023: Events, Partnerships, Early Results

When you’ve been slowed down a bit by a sprained ankle and a bruised shoulder bone (I’m good, healing fast and well) – you have the time to do what you’ve been previously bad at – taking the time to reflect and take stock of some of what you did.

So here’s a snapshot: events I produced and co-produced in 2023 & and some of the early results…

. 7 events for Tech Entrepreneurs ( Open Invite)

. 2 events for Women Tech Entrepreneurs ( Invite Only)

. 2 Tech Happy Hours ( Invite Only)

. 1 Investor Summit ( Invite Only)

. I Investor Tour ( Invite Only)

. 5 Tech Investment and Entrepreneurship Policy Meetings.

Brought a couple of million dollars worth of new business to a local hotel, food, and transportation businesses.

. Connected 3 Jamaican Tech Startups and helped broker JM$54 million worth of investment capital.

. 7 pre-seed Jamaican tech Startups got some Keep Going Funding via Kingston Beta Startup Stage and Partnerships.

And None of this was in a business plan.

Talk about being intentional, flowing with the better plans of the Universe, and trusting the process no matter how uncertain things looked.

Talk about the power of right partnerships and collaborating with people who believe what you believe. Super Grateful.
